DAILY POWER SYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS FOR MAY 17, 2004 The CPA Electricity Advisor issues this report to note significant events or conditions of interest in the power sector. HIGHLIGHTS: Baiji 2,3,4,6, SP, stopped on Sunday afternoon as the result of a fuel pump that tripped the auxiliary electrical system and caused a complete power failure. Units 2 and 6 returned to the grid Sunday night.
