Thank you for your letter of 16 June in which you set out some serious allegations about DfID's performance over Iraq. Andrew Turnbull has investigated these allegations, and DfID have responded fully to your points.
It was of course a difficult time for all involved. I am keen that DfID, under Valerie's leadership, should move on. The Department is already working much more closely with the rest of the Government, and I will be keeping a careful eye on things to ensure that this continues.
