Current News and Events Ministry of Education Teacher Trainers Prepare for Teacher Training Project Ministry of Education Trainers work to develop a questionnaire and interview process that will be used to select teachers and school leaders from around the country. The selected educators will participate in special training this Fall. A core of 40 secondary teachers and 22 headmasters and headmistresses will be invited to be trained as a cadre of educators, who over the next year will then train others. A pilot group of 10 primary teachers from Baghdad will also be included.The workshops for the training are still being developed. This training is part of the Revitalization of Iraqi Schools and Stabilization of Education (RISE) project funded by USAID and implemented by Creative Associates. The Iraq Foundation, an NGO, worked on the development as well and will provide facilitators for this program.
