Today's meeting with members of the Iraqi Governing Council, United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan, and members of the UN Security Council is the most recent example. Other examples include: Iraq's negotiations with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund; Iraqi officials attending meetings of the Arab League, Gulf Cooperation Council, and OPEC; and Iraqis making the Hajj with Muslims from across the globe.
