Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Public Service Announcement May 18, 2003 SUCCESSFUL VOTING HELD AT BAGHDAD UNIVERSITY On Saturday, May 17 th , Baghdad University faculty voted on candidates to be considered by the Coalition Provisional Authority for the posts of president, vice-president of scientific research and vice president of administration. Dr. Sami Mahdi Al-Mudafer was selected as the acting president. Dr. Hatan Jabar Attaia was selected as the acting vice-president of scientific research and Dr. Abdull Rahman Al-Rawi was selected as the acting vice president of administration.
