This is an organization with much broader objectives that include: Transforming WMD group into technology infrastructure group that will help rebuilding Iraq and transfer technology to its various sectors. Act as a liaison between Iraq and the industrialized world to partner in initiating various industries. Train Iraqi scientists and engineers with outside help in the various fields needed for technology transfer. Identify license holders with useful products and help acquire licenses that will improve Iraq’s industries. Help keep Iraq’s WMD scientists from leaving to work for potential proliferators such as Iran. Help in building some industries and turn them into public enterprises in the process of privatizing government based industries.
